Hello everyone! This site is intended to keep you informed and to help us stay in touch with our customers and supporters.

Community Greens is one of Kelowna's first urban farms and will be utilizing the practices of the S.P.I.N. farming model. For more information on "S.P.I.N.(Small Plot INtensive) farming" please visit spinfarming.com. Community Greens will be a multi-plot urban farm, using converted lawn spaces throughout central Kelowna to provide the community with healthy, low-impact, organic produce. During the growing season we will be offering a variety of fresh produce, as well as a year round selection of herbs, micro greens, and wheat grass. Our produce will be sold at our own farm stand, farmers' markets, restaurants, and through a pilot C.S.A.(Community Supported Agriculture) program. If you are a local business or individual who is interested in our produce or services please contact us. We are also still looking for a few more plots of land to be donated in exchange for a weekly supply of produce.

Cody is a highly motivated individual who wants to see change in the way that food is produced and delivered. On average nine times the energy is consumed while delivering your produce than is actually gained from it's nourishment. This is not only an environmental issue but also an economic one as well. If we are sending all of our money for food over seas, how does that help our local economies?

Want to be involved, or interested in joining our pilot C.S.A.(Community Supported Agriculture)? Contact us for more details.

Our FRESH, LOCAL, and CHEMICAL/PESTICIDE FREE produce will be available for purchase at local farmers' markets, at our weekly farm stand, and through a pilot C.S.A. program for the 2010 growing season .

Join us and be part of this exciting new local food movement! To be kept up to date on the latest news, or for more information regarding our produce, please contact us via e-mail or phone. Thank you for your interest and support.
